It began like the majority of young children, my mum wanted me to know the safety surrounding the pool area in my backyard. At first, it was a struggle but as time went on I found respect and passion for swimming and the impact it can have through my physical and mental attributes not just in the pool but also out of it.

16 years later, I'm still swimming.

I started dreaming big and challenged myself everyday to achieve that dream. I started competitive swimming at the age of 9, only to false start in my first race. Attended my first Australian Age Championships at the age of 11, and my first Australian Open Championships at the age of 14.

I have since gone on to represent my school and swim club in district, metropolitan, state, national and international levels.

I have held pool, metro, state and all comers records in 200, 400, 1500 meters freestyle and 200 and 400 individual medley, in various age groups and various states.

I am passionate about teaching children in and around the water, especially in their own pool.

It is one thing to teach children a life skill, it is another thing to teach them life skills in their own everyday environment and watch them grow.

Ensuring that they understand the importance of the pool area will provide the children the more enjoyment and treasured memories that can come from an Australian tradition.

Providing your child with private swimming lessons in your own pool has enormous benefits, as it offers your children:

  • Less distractions
  • More individual, taliored attention
  • Convenience
  • A more relaxed teaching style
  • Healthy more hygenic atmosphere
  • Excellent value for money
